Applicants—local and out-of-region

Our Regional Learning Choices Programs are open to all eligible students—see program information for details. Students who meet the criteria for acceptance to the programs and who live in Brampton, Caledon and Mississauga will be offered spots first.

Students who meet the program criteria and who live outside of Peel Region will be offered spots once local student applicants have been accommodated. In some cases, all spots may be offered to students who live in Peel.

Revised application process for regional programs that begin in Sept. 2016

Peel District School Board elementary students did not receive term two report cards during the 2014-15 school year. As a result, the board will revise the admissions process for Regional Learning Choices Programs that begin in September 2016. No student will be disadvantaged because he or she does not have a term two report card.

Term one report cards will be accepted for all Peel students, and for students who do not have a formal report card or summary of marks. Students from school boards that issued term two report cards or summaries of marks in writing will submit these.

The documentation that is required will be shared during program information meetings.
