In grades 9 and 10, SciTech students will explore a range of technology and science skills, knowledge, applications and career pathways. In this program, the students are taught French as a subject and French serves as the language of instruction in 3 or more other subjects, such as Math.  At least 50 per cent of all instruction is provided in French.
Extended French, Grades 4-8 : In this program, students are taught French as a subject and French serves as the language of instruction in at least one other subject, such as math.
Core French is mandatory from Grades 4 to 8 for all students in English-language elementary schools. French is taught as a subject and helps students develop a basic usable command of the language.
